An evening with: Romy Gill

In collaboration with The Kitchen Table, we are delighted to host chef and food writer Romy Gill to celebrate the launch of her fabulous new book, Romy Gill's India.

'Romy Gill's India' is a beautiful book and within the pages Romy shares her beloved family recipes, each a testament to the flavours that define her childhood. From the iconic Butter Chicken, a beloved staple in every Indian home, to the delicious simplicity of her Masala Omelette, Romy invites you to savour the authentic tastes of India without the fuss. As well as recipes, Romy imparts her culinary wisdom and invaluable tips to help you craft curries with confidence in your own kitchen.

During this event you can enjoy an informal talk and Q&A with the author and learn about the culinary delights of the Bengal & Punjab regions of India while Romy demonstrates dishes from her book. You'll be greeted with a glass of prosecco on arrival followed by a delicious selection of small tasters* from Romy's new book, all included in your ticket price!

'Romy Gill MBE is a celebrity and renowned Indian chef, food and travel writer, and broadcaster based in the south-west of England. With a passion for culinary excellence, she first gained recognition as the owner and head chef at Romy's Kitchen. In 2016, Romy was honoured with an MBE in the Queen's 90th Birthday Honours list.

Romy's influence expands across borders as she travels across the UK and abroad to deliver engaging food demonstrations and participate in conferences. Her expertise has been recognised worldwide, being invited to speak at the prestigious Mad Symposium in Copenhagen in 2018, and showcasing her culinary prowess at the renowned James Beard Foundation in New York in 2020.'
