About the event
In collaboration with The Kitchen Table, we are delighted to host fire chef and food writer, Genevieve Taylor, to celebrate the launch of her new cook book, How to BBQ.
This book is the definitive guide to fire cooking, from building your fire and choice of fuel to fire-cooking techniques and recipes.
During this event you can enjoy an informal talk and Q&A with the author while she demonstrates dishes from her book over an outdoor BBQ. You might even get a chance to taste some demo samples* made from How to BBQ!
A committed omnivore, Genevieve is on a mission to prove that great BBQ isn't just about Man vs. Meat. Through her classes at Bristol Fire School and touring festivals all over the world she loves showing people that everything and anything can be cooked over live fire.
When she’s not cooking with fire, Genevieve can usually be found outside walking her dogs in the woods, growing a few good things to eat on her Bristol allotment or listening to rather a lot of music just a little bit too loud.
Genevieve will be doing book signings at the event and 'How to BBQ' will be available to purchase on the day. If you can't wait that long, pop in to The Kitchen Table in Shaftesbury to purchase an advance copy!
If you have any questions about the booking process, just let us know.
