So thank you, amazing people, for regularly braving the elements to come and work with us. We love you for it 🙏🏻

👋🏼 Hello lovely people! We just wanted to say a quick hello to our new followers and share some fun Sorelle facts for our ongoing followers…
1️⃣ ‘Sorelle’ is Italian for ‘sisters’ (that’s us! Matilda & Natalie)
2️⃣ We started a cafe to help diversify our small family farm. We now run regular events and have on-site glamping too! Alongside keeping sheep, chickens and two very spoiled pigs…
3️⃣ On our first day open we took £9.50 (from one customer) and we were delighted
4️⃣ We both have spaniels who are also sisters (Maggie & Mango) and our mum has their mum, Purdy (we know, it’s excruciatingly cute)
5️⃣ We adore delicious food and always use locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. We’re also a bit obsessed with coffee. And pastries. And cake 👀
6️⃣ Our little business couldn’t open each day without our genuinely wonderful (and bonkers) team of awesome humans. Without them it’s just us, a basket of croissants and some rusty coffee skills, which would be pretty disappointing for all you fab customers.

So here’s a big THANK YOU to everyone who supports us, both in person and from afar. We are still delighted every time you decide to visit 🙏🏻

It was a real honour to be able to cook a few dishes from Sami’s beautiful book ‘Boustany’ and share them with guests throughout the evening.
Sami was so kind and generous with his time - what a wonderful evening we all had together 👏🏻

🌸 A quick divergence from food to talk about flowers!
We’ve always intended to open up our flower farm to the public for ‘Pick Your Own’ evenings or just for the joy of wandering around space.
So far, we’ve been scuppered by insurance (year 1), monsoon-style rain (year 2) and now drought (year 3). While our flower stand is regularly stocked with blooms from our farm, we really don’t have the quantities of flowers that we should at this time of year. Certainly not enough to justify PYO when we have existing flowery commitments to weddings and events.
🌼 SO we are putting a pin in PYO for this year. We’re sorry to disappoint our customers, but unless a weather-based miracle occurs and our plants start growing at a rate of knots, we just can’t anticipate suitable quantities of flowers this year.
We’re not giving up on the vision though! So watch this space and, with a little patience, hopefully you’ll be roaming our flower farm next summer snipping blooms into a bucket. 🤞🏼

We keep going on about how fabulous this event is, so here is the evidence. Five professional classical musicians will be singing a beautifully curated program of songs, ranging from classical arrangements to contemporary favourites. All while lit by candlelight!🌟
There will even be a chance for you to sing along to a few traditional carols 🎶

If you’re ever passing their way, we thoroughly recommend paying them a visit.

PYO blueberries, beautiful cut flowers and top-notch coffee 👌🏻 (the blueberry pancakes were pretty damn tasty too!)

You can tell that this is business built with care and some serious hard work. PLUS it’s another sibling-run venture which we obviously love 🙌🏼
