✅ Week one is done and dusted!
It has been a real treat returning to the cafe for 2025 and seeing so many lovely new faces as well as our wonderful regulars.
If you haven’t visited yet, please come and say hello! We are open 9am-3pm, Thursday-Sunday with breakfast served until midday and hot food until 2.30pm
We’ve had a few people asking about Valentine’s Day so, while we’re not doing anything specific to celebrate in the cafe, we will have some deliciously romantic sweet treats available from our counter to eat in or takeaway ❤️

PS. Don’t forget to support British flower farms this Valentine’s! Many growers offer vouchers, potted plants or you can get British tulips & narcissi from local florists - check out @flowersfromthefarm for more information 💐

We keep going on about how fabulous this event is, so here is the evidence. Five professional classical musicians will be singing a beautifully curated program of songs, ranging from classical arrangements to contemporary favourites. All while lit by candlelight!🌟
There will even be a chance for you to sing along to a few traditional carols 🎶

We are Matilda & Natalie, the sisters behind Sorelle. Most days we can be found in either a kitchen or a field (or very occasionally a pub) where we’ll be cooking brunch for our customers or planting and harvesting flowers (providing that the slugs don’t get there first).
Sorelle is a cafe within a stretch tent, so we pretend that we’re in Italy and generally try to ignore the rain when it comes. Whether through food, flowers or events, everything we do comes from a genuine wish to make everyone’s day a little bit yummier. If that’s a word.

We visited the fabulous @brothersfarmdorset today!
If you’re ever passing their way, we thoroughly recommend paying them a visit.

PYO blueberries, beautiful cut flowers and top-notch coffee 👌🏻 (the blueberry pancakes were pretty damn tasty too!)

You can tell that this is business built with care and some serious hard work. PLUS it’s another sibling-run venture which we obviously love 🙌🏼

We are utterly in awe of the cake-creating skills of both independent bakers who supply us with delicious home-bakes every week. We used to do all of our own baking, but as demand grew (and somehow our kitchen seemed to shrink) it became impossible for us to keep up! So now we have two incredibly lovely local bakers who are far more skilled than we ever were.
Please pop in and sample some of their beautiful bakes this week!

We are also very excited for Friday night, when we’ll have @rcvocalcoaching singing from 7pm and we’ll be serving aperitivo until 8pm! Bar closes at 9pm 🥂

We should probably also mention our dad (he’ll be horrified) who is often found working incredibly hard on the farm or grazing over a cheese board with a nice Chianti…
We couldn’t have built our business without him. (I mean, he literally built a lot of it.) So here is a massive WE LOVE YA to our dear dad ❤️
